2008 STARS Citrus Classic - Jacksonville, FL
This was our first time attending this show.  We thoroughly enjoyed the complex and Josh did very well! It was definitely a nice break from the cold weather.
2008 Old Dominion Gaited Horse Classic -Lexington, VA
This had to be one of Josh's best shows ever!  We always seem to do well in Lexington and this year was no different.  Both Hobo and Jazz were on the mark..
2008 Tarheel Plantation Classic - Raleigh,NC
We had lots of fun with our friends, but we just couldn't seem to catch the judges eye this weekend. Josh plans to go home and get ready for the next show.
2008 Carolina Walkers' Classic- Pelzer, SC
The Camden show which always kicks off our season, was re-located this year to Pelzer, SC.  You can always expect it to be cold in early March at this show, but the temperatures this weekend were lower than ever! We have never been this cold at a show, it was even sleeting at one point!  Despite the bad weather outside things warmed up for Josh inside. He came away with sixteen placings including two first.  We enjoyed seeing all of our friends and are looking forward to our next show in Jacksonville, FL.
2008 Four Beats Spring Show - Rocky Mount, NC
The turn out for this one day show was small, but we had a ball!  Josh had some really good rides on both Jazz and Hobo.  Jacey even showed Jazz in Model. It was good preparation for the Asheville NWHA show in a couple of weeks.
2008 Firecracker Jubilee - Williamston, NC
2008 Asheville NWHA Regional Show - Asheville, NC
It is definetly a great time of the year to be in the mountains.  Hobo did not make it into a lot of classes at the show, so Jazz had to pickup the slack!  We enjoyed our first NWHA Regional Championship Show, and are looking forward to next year!
Both horses did well.  Jacey won the youth model class with Jazz.  Hobo and Jazz both had an incredible show.
Josh has exhibited his two horses at eight National Walking Horse Association shows this season. His travels took him to five different states. The last was the season finale held in Murfreesboro Tennessee called “The Nationals”. Throughout the regular show season he won a total of 102 ribbons on his horse Jazz Show including 14 firsts and 28 seconds. He also won 78 ribbons on his horse He’s Bumed Out including 26 firsts and 20 seconds. At The Nationals where he competed against the best horses in the country, Josh was able to bring home 10 ribbons with “Jazz” including 3 seconds and also 4 ribbons on “Hobo”.Josh also participates in the association’s year long High Point Program. He was recently informed that he had won a reserve High Point Award on Jazz and two High Point Awards on Hobo.

Congratulations Josh!

2008 Harvest Jubilee-Rocky Mount, NC
The rain in the morning was miserable, but by lunchtime the sun was shinning bright!  It was a fun day.  Everyone ribboned including Dad!
